Record Number of Suicides Reported

Sunday, April 5th, 2009

Big MikeThe Cleveland Browns recently reported the highest level of suicides among its fanbase since it began tracking the rate 10 years ago. Statistics obtained by brownieman.net show that the Browns reported 128 suicides last season and an additional 15 suspected suicides since the Mankok regime took over in January. The confirmed rate of suicide in 2008 was 20.25 per 100,000 fans. Browns officials are currently reviewing the recent suspected suicides. If any of them are confirmed, the team may be forced to name its starting QB, draft a receiver that can actually catch the f*cking football, and start winning games on a consistent basis. The Browns are expected to announce a new effort to determine why its suicide-prevention program is not working, and the extent to which post-game stress may be a contributing factor. Many of the suicides occur after fans return home from the game. Questionable play calling, poor execution, and lack of roster talent may also have something to do with it.
